Speaking with Power FM’s Thabiso Tema the day after the 2021 State of the Nation Address, Ann Bernstein shared that although she agrees with President Ramaphosa’s four priorities for the country, she doesn’t agree with everything that was in the speech. “We have to make it a more labour intensive economy; nothing was said about that last night. But if you add on all these localisation requirements for companies doing infrastructure and anything else in the entire economy, this is going to hold back progress,” she explained.
