Purpose of position: Reporting to the Financial Manager and providing an efficient, accurate, comprehensive, proactive and current accounting, payroll and general financial function to ensure the professional and smooth operations of CDE’s financial function.

Required education, experience and knowledge: BCOM degree- Minimum eight years accounting experience up to trial balance OR CA- Minimum three years accounting experience up to trial balance.

Preferred experience: Two or more years’ experience in project accounting and detailed reconciliation; experience of the non-profit sector and donor reporting; experience with Sage Evolution BIC module and advanced excel, and experience budgeting for project proposals.
