On 21 November 2018, CDE convened a successful workshop that focused on young people who are not in employment, education or training (NEETs), but with a special focus on those without matric. This event was attended by a wide range of experts and key players who work with youth who all contributed to a rich and lively discussion that has deepened our knowledge of the challenges that face 8 million young people in South Africa. The workshop forms part of a three-year project what is supported by the Standard Bank Tutuwa Community Foundation.
