Speaking to 702’s Bruce Whitfield, Ann Bernstein unpacked why there is no investment in South Africa’s infrastructure programme. She said, “The private sector is very clear, they are willing, eager and able to participate in well-designed state-led infrastructure projects, but there are no projects coming to market.” She further spoke about effective public-private partnerships, policy reforms and a weak state.
