Speaking to Thabo Mdluli on Newzroom Afrika, Ann Bernstein unpacked the current state of government policy and the root causes of South Africa’s unfavourable state of affairs. During the interview, she emphasised that South Africa desperately needs leadership: “I’m saying that requires honesty about where we are, why we’re in this terrible situation and then a compelling plan to get us out of it.”
