Speaking to Cape Talk’s John Maytham, Ann Bernstein discussed South Africa’s skills shortage and the challenges to attract skilled immigration as a result of the draft of the critical skills list that was released by government on 18 February 2021. She said, “We need foreign skills to help get the economy going and to start up new businesses new ideas for how South Africa can create more firms and expand firms.”
