CDE’s Ann Bernstein recently spoke to Vuyo Mvoko on SABC’s The Watchdog about the country’s poor education system. “We don’t think the amount of money that we spend on education is the issue, the question is what are we getting out of it?” she questioned. She further touched on other issues including teacher preparedness and absenteeism, and cadre deployment.
