Speaking to Slindelo Masikane on eNCA, Ann Bernstein discussed CDE’s new report titled Accelerating South Africa’s infrastructure programme. What is holding us back? She said, “We have to change the regulations in order to facilitate public-private partnerships and that hasn’t happened yet, there is work being done but why it can’t be fast tracked is beyond me.” She also touched on the need for Government to deal with lawlessness to encourage investors to risk their money and the expectations for the upcoming State of the Nation Address.
