JOIN US as we convene a series of global conversations over the next year on democracy, business, markets and development.
Montek Singh Ahluwalia has been described as “a brilliant reformer that helped change India for the better in ways few can rival”. An Oxford trained economist and civil servant, he created the blueprint for Indian economic reform, and as Deputy Chairman of the Indian Planning Commission between 2004 to 2014 he oversaw India’s shift to a high-growth economy. See his bio here.
For 25 years CDE has influenced policy in South Africa’s democracy. We have established ourselves as a unique, influential policy think tank and prominent public ‘voice’ promoting enterprise and development in South Africa and emerging markets.
