Speaking on Newzroom Afrika’s Daytime Update, CDE executive director Ann Bernstein is calling for an independent enquiry led by a retired judge to probe the stagnation in the prosecution of corruption cases by the National Prosecuting Authority. She says that over the last six years since the appointment of NPA Director, Shamila Batohi “ there hasn’t been an enormous improvement in dealing with major corruption cases” .
