In an interview with Business Lunch on Business Day TV, Ann Bernstein, the executive director of the Centre for Development and Enterprise (CDE), walked through five priority areas for South Africa’s next government. Bernstein recently launched CDE’s AGENDA 2024, a project outlining the five urgent priority areas that the new government, once established, needs to focus on in its first 180 days in office. On one of the priorities, the need for fiscal stability, Bernstein said, “We don’t need more money allocated, we just need performance and value for money”.
