Speaking to SA FM’s Patricia Ntuli, CDE’s Ann Bernstein cited a leadership crisis at the Department of Health and called on the President to use this time as an opportunity to fast-track the country’s Covid-19 vaccination rollout, among other health sector challenges. “We have to send a bold signal to appoint the best possible leader in health for this country in the middle of an unbelievable crisis,” she said.
