Speaking to eNCA’s Sally Burdett, CDE’s Ann Bernstein reflected on Minister Enoch Godongwana’s inaugural Medium Term Budget Policy Statement. She said, “If you look at the budget projections for growth for next year and the year after, they’re incredibly low 1,6% – 1.7%, this is totally insufficient and probably a realistic assessment of where we are. I don’t think the Budget Policy Statement is all about growth but balancing our finances.”
