Speaking to ETV’s Melanie Rice, CDE’s Ann Bernstein shared her view that the Medium Term Budget Policy Statement should grow the economy which, as a result, will create jobs. “The Budget Statement is not the place to look for projects that will help jobs which is the wrong approach in my view, we’re looking for credibility in how the Government is managing its finances and that has a big impact on growth as well,” she said.
