Post titles and naming of images and PDFs

These are recommendations for good SEO practice and general housekeeping.

  • When writing your post title use plain high school English with correct grammar.
  • Do not use CAPITAL LETTERS to enhance words or sentences, this can be seen as rude or angry
  • Name the featured image the same as the post title and add a -CDE to the end of the filename
  • Name the PDF the same as the post title and add a -CDE to the end of the filename
  • Never use spaces in your image or pdf file names
  • Always-use-a-dash-for-spaces
  • NO-CAPS-or-F$^7nny-Ch@r%cter

Post Title: Smallholders at the forefront of land reform. The right road or a dead end ?
Featured Image: Smallholders-at-the-forefront-of-land-reform-The-right-road-or-a-dead-end-CDE.jpg
PDF: Smallholders-at-the-forefront-of-land-reform-The-right-road-or-a-dead-end-CDE.pdf

If the PDF is a report, summary, CDE Roundtable etc the filenames will look like this.
