Land Reform
Land reform is a vital political issue in South Africa. CDE’s research underlines the complexity of what is involved and the potentially explosive results of getting it wrong. CDE believes that we need to redefine ‘land reform’ to take account of the realities of an urbanising, modernising, economy, whilst ensuring that it is a policy area with achievable goals, compatible with our developmental constraints.
